Microsoft TechNet provides a variety of licensing options to fit every organization's need, from small to medium to large. There are three licensing options available for Microsoft TechNet:

Single User License: each single user license allows one user to install the Microsoft TechNet CD Viewer software (installed from the CD-ROM) on a single workstation to access the CD-ROM's contents.

Additional User License: each additional license allows one user to install the Microsoft TechNet CD Viewer software (installable from the CD-ROM) on a single workstation to access the CD-ROM's contents. This license must be used in conjunction with the single user license.

Single Server Unlimited Users License: each single server unlimited users license allows you to install Microsoft TechNet onto a server at your site and provide unlimited access to local users connected to that server.
